Ever since I was a small child I have loved snowglobes, and these snowstorm art blocks have allowed me to indulge that love. The original artwork is created using ink, with small details scratched out with a knife to reveal the paper below. The artwork is then mounted into an acrylic snowblock which when shaken, animates the scene with a swirling snow and glitter. I have also hand engraved the surface of the acrylic block with whitened tree branches to give a more 3 dimensional feel.
